Would You Rather | Beauty Edition

I was in need of a new post as I'm still waiting to go shopping and get my last few bits and bobs for holiday haul, I'm dying to get it up for you all! Anyways, I found this one on Kayleigh's blog I thought it would be a great tag to do. This tag is originally from YouTube, but Kayleigh hasn't gotten around to making YouTube videos yet and neither have I, so she made a blog post out of it & I think it's the perfect tag to do!

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Definitely palettes and eyeshadows. I only started wearing eyeshadow a lot recently, so it wouldn't really be much of a loss to me. Also I think wearing mascara wakes me up a lot in the mornings and without it I would look awful going around! Here's a funny story actually; My mum and her friends used to use lipstick as eyeshadow when they were younger and my mum still does it to this day. To be honest, you'd think this would look awful, but it genuinely looks nice! Depending on the colour, obviously. (They used browns, plums and other dark colours!). Moral of the story; If you really need eyeshadow, just whip out ya lippy ha!

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Well, I have long hair as it is and whenever I get it cut I hate it! But I think if I never cut it again, it would end up being in really bad condition and breaking off. So I guess I'd rather cut it all off and get a fresh batch of hair.. You could always get a wig!

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Most likely coral. I love a lot of pink shades but I'd pick up a coral quicker than I'd pick up a pink. I find that it's so easy for me to go wrong with pinks! Is that just me?

If you had €1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I wish I could say both! Although, I have enough makeup to do me for now. So I'd probably choose clothes, especially because it's summer now and I'd love to kit out my whole wardrobe for the summer! How nice would that be?

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick. How would it be possible to apply lipstick in a thin line to your eyelid/undereye?

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
We don't have a Sephora over here in Ireland, so I'd choose MAC!

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
One eyeshadow, definitely! I only wear neutral colours on my eyes anyways, so I don't think it would make much of a difference to me if I had to stick with just one colour. Plus you could always build it up to make it darker so it looks like two colours ;). I'm really starting to experiment with lipstick now and I love changing the colours that I use around often!

Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
We hardly get summers over in Ireland and even when we do it rarely lasts a week or two! So I have mostly winter clothes and I would choose winter clothes in the summer. I also really hate being cold. If you wore summer clothes in the winter, you'd constantly be sick!

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?
This is a hard one for me because I am forever changing my nail varnish! I think I'd go with bright nails though, even though I absolutely love dark nails! I find that pastels, light and bright colours work better with my skin tone and dark nails can sometimes be quite hard for me to pull off! 

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
This one is tricky too! I love keeping my lips moisturised but I think I'd still choose mascara for my eyes. As I said earlier, it wakes me up in the mornings and makes me look half decent going out the door!

Would you rather only being able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
A pony tail! Messy buns are hard for me to pull off because my hair is so thin. So I'd much rather a pony tail. Pony tails are quite versatile too, you can do so much with them. This is definitely a bonus for me with having thin hair!

Would you rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
I think I'd rather never use lipgloss again actually! You could always use moisturising lip products or shiny lipsticks to give off a lipgloss look. Whereas you couldn't really do anything with your nails without nail varnish other than buff them and I love painting my nails!

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
What?! Sharpie them in everyday. Have you ever seen pictures of celebrities without their eyebrows? If not, look here! Be warned, it's quite hilarious! I remember my sister waxed off most of my eyebrows when we were younger, I can assure you.. It wasn't very nice!

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
It would have to be nail polish, even though I love it. I don't think I'd be able to go around without makeup especially if my skin was a bit on the bad side, which luckily it usually isn't! But everyone gets spots now and then and I prefer to cover them up!
