Beauty Haul | Boots

Beauty Haul
I was let loose in Boots on my recent shopping trip and we all know how that ends up... I feel like I got quite a lot of items for my money though! And mostly everything here is affordable on a low budget. I promise you that!

Please, please and please ignore the insane photography - I had no time to get a background ready so I just used the radiator! I've also just been given a white table from my Mam, so I'm delighted to be able to use this as a photography table! It'll save a hell of a lot of dodgy floor pictures in the future... Hehe!

L'Oreal ELVIVE Fibrology
L'Oréal Elvive Fibrology: Shampoo // Mask // Conditioner

I've been dying to try these out ever since I saw Jen (Miss Budget Beauty) talking about them on her YouTube channel. My hair is so thin that any hair product I see containing the words 'volume', 'big' or 'thickening' etc, is almost straight away in my basket. I've since learned that the Fibrology range contain damaging ingredients for your hair and I've even heard some people say that they've found it leaving their hair super dry, but I feel like I can use hair masks and treatments afterwards if my hair is looking a bit rough. Honestly, if it works I don't even mind it drying out my hair a bit. I've only used these three times since purchasing them but I can definitely tell you they've made my hair look and feel a lot more fuller than ever before. For the price, I cannot complain because they do work for me.

Herbal Essences Conditioner
Herbal Essences: Bee Strong Conditioner

I stumbled across this product while reading through one of Kayleigh's (Couture Girl) 'Monthly Favourites' blogposts. She was saying how well it worked for her because she gets lots of tangles after washing her hair - I am the exact same and I could be trying to brush out them tangles for ages! I sometimes feel like a child again because I do feel like giving up and crying... Not even joking! Anyways I've yet to try this conditioner, but I'm expecting great results from it. I also love the fact Nicole Scherzinger is on the front, her hair is just to die for!

Tangle Teezer

My amazingly over-tangled hair leads me on to this little bundle of joy. Can I just say; why, why, WHY did I only buy this now?! I refused to pay so much money for a brush before, but since I've been growing my hair and it's been nothing but a nuisance I decided it was time to treat myself to a tangle teezer. This brush has made my life a hell of a lot easier and brushing my hair isn't half as bad as it used to be. I do get the odd tangle here and there and the tangle teezer by no means glides straight through them, but it does get through them with a lot less pulling and a lot less pain. Oh and a lot less strands of hair being pulled from my head!

Garnier / Loreal Micellar Water

I have absolutely no idea why I bought two of the Garnier micellar waters and just one of the L'Oréal micellar solution, considering I use the L'Oréal one all the time and have never tried the Garnier one. But, I'm glad I did! I actually prefer the Garnier one. You get a lot more product for your money and I found that I use a lot less of it taking my makeup off, compared to the L'Oréal one. Saying that, I still like to have a supply of them both so I can switch between them. I actually found it so difficult to get my hands on the Garnier micellar water since it came out, maybe that's why I bought two! Who knows what was going through my head!

Have you tried or bought any of these products recently? Let me know!

Oh and I prefer the Garnier micellar water too, you get so much more and it removes makeup so well! I find it dispenses product much easier too. x

    1. It's amazing, I've finally tried it and I can say honestly it does tame tangles, very well! You can't go wrong with a tangle teezer, I think they're amazing. I was totally against them at first!
Definitely, I think it works a lot better at taking your makeup off than the L'Oreal one! xx

  5. I so miss Boots but sadly no stores here in Australia, although (as I've just reviewed today) some products are now becoming available at select pharmacies. And I love the Garnier Micellar too, and its such a bargain too!
