L'Oréal | Skin Perfection | 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution Review

The hype for micellar waters going around is crazy, ever since Bioderma showed its face! Every beauty blogger/guru and their mothers have one at this stage! I know I'm a bit behind on the bandwagon with this review, but I left it a while to do this one as I wanted to test it out and see if it was actually any good.

October Wishlist

It's that time of the month again and I've a list the length of my arm full of beauty items that I want. A girl can wish, but can't always afford hey! *Sob* I've been keeping lists of things I want the past month and I would love to put them all in one big wishlist, but it'd be too much! So I've picked a handful of products to put into this post. I hope you see something that takes your fancy!

1.Urban Decay | Naked Basics Palette
I've wanted one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes for as long as I can remember, but I can't afford one being on a crappy budget. So the naked basics palette seems to be the easiest way out for me, and the shades are perfect. You can go quite plain and neutral or you can go smokey with the colours that are in it. This would be perfect for travelling, which I do a lot of lately!

2. Real Techniques | Powder Brush
I've built up quite a big collection of Real Techniques brushes over the last two years. I've been on the hunt for a good powder brush because the one I have has gone a bit too shabby to be honest. When I seen the Real Techniques one I decided I have to get it!

3. Real Techniques | Blush Brush
I know this is a 'blush brush', but I actually want to get this and try it out as another powder brush! It's so big and fluffy, I think it'd be perfect for powder. I don't wear a lot of blush so I don't think this one would ever be an actual blush brush for me. Although, never say never!

4. Lee Stafford | Treatment For Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length
What can I even say? I've wanted this treatment for so long and I've not bought it yet! Why not, Leanne?! The next time Boots have their '3 for 2' offer back on the Lee Stafford range, I'm going to be all over this. I've gone beyond wanting it now. I've seen far too many good reviews to pass it by again.

5. Benefit | They're Real Mascara
I'm all for my Maybelline Falsies and I've never really ventured out very far with mascaras. I have seen so many reviews about this mascara and the hype amongst the beauty blogger world has been absolutely crazy, I think I've definitely been persuaded enough to get it!

6. NYX | Jumbo Eye Pencil | 604 Milk
I think everyone needs a NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the shade Milk. It's the perfect product for making bright eyeshadows pop or any colour for that matter. Coming up to Halloween I think this would be a great purchase!

7. Hydraluron | Moisture Booster
I've generally quite oily to combination skin, but I went for a facial a while back and they told me that my skin was oily in areas but also really dehydrated in those areas. Which shocked me, because I moisturise all the time! Since then, I've stopped using harsh products on my face, even in oily areas. I wanted something to boost my skin and give it plenty of hydration, so when I seen a few reviews about this I decided this will be one of the products I'm going to go for!

What's on your wishlist this month? Do any of these products take your fancy?
Have you got any of these already?

Thanks for reading!

Spending Ban!

Shocker! It's time to go on a spending ban. I'm off on holidays with a few friends in June and really need to start saving up for that. I'm planning to have at least €500 - €700 by the time I'm leaving. Because I can't really go on a holiday with no money, can I?

Boots Traditional Skin Care - Glycerin & Rosewater Toner Review!

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to share with you, what I thought of the ranted and raved about Boots Toner! After a long time trialing this product I've been asked to do a review! I was going to do this ages ago I just never got around to it. I've been really naughty at blogging the past few months and I just haven't blogged much all. So I hope this is enough for you guys to forgive me, hehe.

Boots Christmas Wishlist

Hello everyone!

Well well well, it's that time of the year again. The start of December! Can't believe how quick this year has gone. I remember going back to school and then doing my leaving cert and now I'm half way through college, WHAT?! It's also Christmas this month, just for that, I am excited. I have to say a big sorry to all my readers because I have not been updating at all. I'm going on holidays for 3 weeks also, so I can write blog posts but I won't be able to post them until I'm back.

Gift Vouchers Bloggers Challenge

Hello everyone!

I've seen a few beauty bloggers taking on this challenge from this site to win some vouchers for different stores. It says the challenge is over on the 9th of November, but on their latest post, it has been extended to the 11th!
Here's the prizes they have mentioned on their site;
  • ASOS Gift Voucher worth £35
  • Topshop Gift Card worth £35
  • Amazon.co.uk Gift Certificate worth £35
  • JolieBox.com 3 Month Subscription
  • BooHoo.com £35 Gift Voucher
There will be 2 winners and each get to pick a £35 voucher! I think that's a fantastic prize!
You can read more on their blog post which I linked above, but sure I'll link it again!

What you have to do is pretty simple. You need to pick at least 5 gift ideas for Christmas, Birthdays and any other celebrations, which is pretty easy right? But, they all have to be under £35! That's the challenge.

Anyways, I thought I'd give this challenge a shot. What's the harm? It's a bit of fun, especially when you're bored! Here's what I came up with;
(Click on the image to see it in full size, otherwise you can't read the writing!)

I know, I went a bit overboard! But anyways. Here's a list of links and websites and all sorts for you to check out!

I chose the Nandos items because personally, I love Nandos! And this gift would be ideal for anyone with a love for Nandos food! The fact they're on 3 for 2 in Boots is also a big bonus!

I chose the ModelsOwn Mirrorball Box Set because girls love nail varnish, and even better, they love glitter! The variety of colours is great, because you can nearly use them with any nail varnish you own already! I think the clear colour is a great addition to the set because you can never have enough clear nail varnishes!

I chose the two Nail Art Pen Set's from Argos because the colours caught my eye immediately. I love nail art myself and I find it quite hard to do with nail art brushes and dotting tools etc., these pens just look a lot easier to use! This would be great for someone starting out on nail artistry.

I thought the Soap & Glory eyeshadow palette from Argos was a good bargain! I think this would be ideal for a sister or a friend or any other girl! Its good quality nude colours are especially good for people who are maybe starting out with eyeshadow, or people who just love neutral colours. It's also at a great price as you get kohl liner and liquid liner! Oh and the box is an attraction alone!

I picked the Soap & Glory mini hat box because who doesn't love Soap & Glory these days? It's so expensive to buy usually, so for a tenner, this is a bargain! Also, Soap & Glory's products are on a 3 for 2 offer as well, so make the most of it!

The last two products I chose were the Remington curling wand and the heated rollers. I chose these because they had gone down so much in price and also because I love them! I think these would be the ideal gift for a girl who loves doing her hair and also for the back-combers! How much damage are they doing to their hair by brushing it backwards? The answer is, a LOT! So the rollers would be super for them!

So there you have it! That's my little entry to this challenge! You guys should definitely try this challenge, it's fun and the prizes are amazing! I had a great time doing this! Check it out here!

Let me know if you're going to do this! Have you tried any of these products before? Are you going to? Leave any comments below!

Thanks for reading,
Love,

Another Beauty Wishlist

Hello world! I hope you're all well!

I was in such a blogging mood this week after recovering from being totally ill, I made a few blog posts and scheduled them. So therefore, MORE POSTS! Yay!

I decided to do a wishlist, actually three, maybe. Because I made three different lists of things I wanted in three different categories. Makeup, Clothes and Nail Art Accessories. So I've chose to do a makeup/skincare wishlist as a blog post to share with you all! I'll just get straight into it I guess.

I've actually been looking for a toner for my face for ages now! I seen this on a YouTube beauty guru the other day and she was ranting and raving about it. I really want to try it! Plus it's a Boots brand, but you'd hardly notice it seeing as the icon is so tiny. It's £2.32, around €3, so not so bad! They also have a spritz spray but I think I'll try this one first.

For the brushes that I own (though I am planning on buying a full set soon!), I started cleaning them with oil as it makes them so soft! I also want to use it for nail care AND hair care. You can use baby oil for a lot of things. I think I'd buy the 100ml, rather than the 500ml and see how long I get out of it before realizing I need the 500ml. In Boots this is £1.20 so it'd be around €1.50. You can pick these up in various pound shops as well though!

This is the same price as the baby oil, and I'll also be using it for cleaning my makeup brushes! It's 100ml as well, and you can get it in 300ml too! I find the small travel sizes are handy for carrying around, if I was to go on holidays or anything these sizes are perfect! (Obviously Leanne, 'travel' size?)

Even though this stuff looks nasty, really nasty.. I've heard endless reviews about it and how amazing it is! I don't ever use body scrubs, but I know if I buy this I'll probably never stop using them. Boots actually have a 3 for 2 sale on selected bath products and seeing as I really want to try this I might buy it along with some other random bits and bobs. This is £8 in Boots so probably €10! I hope I get it before the 3 for 2 offer ends because I really am keen to try some other Soap & Glory products.

There has been SO much hype about this new invention of sticking your finger in a hole (of sponge covered in nail varnish remover, thanks very much!) and getting rid of all your nail varnish from your nail in 1second (obviously dramatic, I'd say about 5seconds at least! Do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.) As soon as I heard about it I had to get it, so Boots here I come! In Boots it's £4.99 so about €6 for me. Unless I can find it in a pound shop, which a LOT of people are saying they have got lately. The one in the pound shops is called 'Twist & Out'.

I seen a fellow blogger, Tor, blog about Miners and I fell in love with the brand straight away! It's kind of like Essence and is a cheaper brand, yet still has amazing quality products! This red colour looks gorgeous and it's only £3.99, about €5 for me. That's a great price for such a beautiful colour.

This pink, is another colour from Miners lipstick range that I looooove. I'm in awe with this new (to me) brand and I'm absolutely dying to try out their products! This lipstick is also £3.99. I find this great that they're this price, as I don't wear too much lipstick because I always think it doesn't suit me. So instead of spending almost €20 on a MAC lipstick, I think it's way better to lose a fiver.

I'm also on the hunt for a brush set. I can't afford any of these €100 sets right now, I don't even have a job. I seen a few sets around town on the markets, but I'm too scared to buy them to be honest. There was one guy selling the whole Bobbi Brown brush range for €35. I was so close to buying it, then said no because if I was ripped of I'd go crazy and most possibly hurt him. Hehe. There was also a brush set for €20 in La Chica, in Dublin. But again, I'm afraid to buy it. I know eventually I'll give in and buy one or the other, but until then, let me know if you guys know any cheap ones I can buy, around Ireland.

Edited just before publishing: I was asking you guys on Twitter if you knew of any brush sets that are cheap yet good quality. A lot of people mentioned 'Real Techniques'. I made the decision that even though these brushes are dear-ish. I'm going to get them anyways. They're worth the price I suppose as they are real and if I look after them, I'll have them a long time. I'm planning on getting two sets which are on sale in Boots. Buy one get one half price! The 'Core Collection' and the 'Starter Set' It's going to cost me about €45 at the most, but I can't wait!

L-Core Collection & R-Starter Set

Last but certainly not least, I'm still looking for a neutral eye shadow palette. In which, I will be purchasing very, very soon. I am going to try get a brush set first though, so I can use it? Haha.

What do you think of these products? Have you tried them before? Will you be trying them soon?
Thanks a mil for reading! Let me know what you think! If you've any comments, suggestions, questions etc. etc. email me, tweet me or leave them below! You know yourselves! :)

Lots of love,

My Wishlist

I've been wanting a lot of products lately so I decided to make a post on some of them. I wish I could win the lotto and just buy them all! This list ranges from makeup products, to nail polish, to skincare products.

MAC | Lady Danger Lipstick. (Around €18)

The colour of this lipstick is just amazing! I love its brightness. It's definitely on my wishlist this summer.
Bobbi Brown | Basic Brush Collection. (Around €140)

I've really been needing a basic brush kit, as I have brushes all over the place in my house. I don't think I'd spend this much money on a brush set, not yet anyways. Does anyone know any cheaper sets you can get, with good quality?

Models Own | Coral Reef. (Around €4)

I've never tried Models Own nail polish, and I really am keen to. I loved this colour straight away and I'm definitely going to get it this summer.

Models Own | Ibiza Mix - Hed Kandi! (€4)

I love this glitter polish from models own too, and am dying to try it on top of loads of different colours!

Topshop | Nails In Easy Breezy. (Around €6)

I've heard many great reviews about Topshop's nail polish, and when I scanned through their site the first colour I was attracted to was this one. It's a summery colour and I'm going to have to try this soon!

Sleek | Storm I-Divine Palette. (€8)

I really only wear neutral tones on my eyes as I'm not a big eye shadow fan. So this would be the best palette for me. I am dying to experiment and this palette for just €8 is a bargain!

LUSH | BB Seaweed Face Mask. (Around €7)

I've seen great reviews about this product and I am curious to try it myself. I want to know does it live up to the reviews. I love lush products and I'm really hoping to try this soon!

So this is just a small list of products I want to try. I'm going to try do a wishlist maybe once or twice a month, just to see what products you guys think I should avoid and ones I should definitely try out.
What do you think of that idea?
